D-Groups
What are D-Groups
D-Groups, short for Discipleship Groups, are small groups of four to five men or women that focus on intentional discipleship and spiritual growth. These groups meet once a week for 52 weeks for personal, practical, powerful discipleship training. In this close small group setting, together you will read, study and memorize scripture, pray together, hold each other accountable.
5 Reasons to Join a D-Group
- Deeper Spiritual Growth: Joining a D-Group provides an opportunity for deeper spiritual growth as you engage in intentional Bible study, prayer, and discussions with like-minded individuals who share a desire to grow in their faith.
- Authentic Community: D-Groups foster a sense of authentic community where you can build meaningful relationships, find support, and experience genuine fellowship with fellow believers who are on a similar faith journey.
- Accountability and Encouragement: In a D-Group, you’ll have a built-in support system. The group members offer accountability and encouragement, helping you stay committed to your spiritual goals and supporting you during both challenges and triumphs.
- Application of Scripture: D-Groups provide a space for applying biblical principles to real-life situations. Through open discussions and sharing personal experiences, you can discover practical ways to live out your faith in your daily life.
- Leadership Development: Joining a D-Group can nurture leadership skills as members often take turns leading discussions, facilitating meetings, and encouraging one another’s growth. It’s an excellent environment to develop leadership abilities within a safe and supportive setting.
Overall, a D-Group offers a transformative and enriching experience, fostering spiritual growth, community, and personal development in your faith journey.
